Inka Bell (b. 1981) lives and works in Finland. Her minimal abstract pieces consist of layered paper always shifting, shimmering in the light. Changing depending on the light and your body's position. Existing somewhere between a painting and a sculpture. The softness and intricate layers of the paper contrasts to the robust metal casing holding the works together.

Matilde Duus (b. 1983) lives and works in Norway and Denmark. Her works may look like a painting, but the canvas seems transparent, glimmering in the light. These paintings are made of glass. Duus works are an oxymoron, incredibly strong in their presentation, but fragile because of their material. In collaboration with the surroundings her pieces expands from the two dimensional fields, and through reflection and colorful shadows moves into an immaterial third dimension.

Pauline Fransson (b. 1990) lives and works in Sweden. Franssons paintings display a soft fragility in her opaque paintings of Swedish landscapes. Working with egg tempera and oil, Franssons paintings are traditional but still inventive in their suggestive softness. Looking at the figurative subjects in her paintings feels like gazing through a foggy landscape; trying to recall a fading memory or a distant dream.

Sune Christiansen (b. 1976) lives and works in Denmark. The lines in Christiansen’s paintings are fast and expressive but figurative; painted in oil stick and acrylics. Always showing the beige canvas which creates a stark contrast and beautiful depth to the colorful lines of the figurations.

Mathias Malling Mortensen (b. 1980) lives and works in Denmark. His contribution consists of a series of intricate paperworks displaying geometric shapes and stripped down compositions working between painting, sculpture and collage boiling the images down to the bones; the essential question of form.
